Epson Stylus DX4000 Review


Epson Epson released the DX3800 and the DX4000 series at the same time in a bid to improve their standing with all in one or multi-purpose printer market. While the DX4000 is the more expensive option of the two it also has enough of its own merits to warrant the slightly dearer price tag. As well as an improved printing and copying speed, the major attraction of the DX4000 for most users will be the memory card reader that enables you to print directly from a digital camera or other media storage device. The Epson DX3800 does not contain this reader.

Black, Cyan, Magenta, And Yellow Epson Cartridges


Like a lot of versions of the modern incarnation of inkjet printers the DX4000 uses separate cartridges for each of the following colours - black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. This improves the amount you will have to spend to keep refuelling your potentially ink hungry colour printer. It's not that the DX4000 is any more ink hungry than other similar printers, it is just the way with inkjet printers in general.
